Community Involvement

Helping others and involvement: these are among the qualities that connect Galeries d’Anjou to organizations working in its community, as these recent examples clearly illustrate.

Helping make dreams comes true

The Fashion Centres (Galeries d’Anjou, Carrefour Laval, Fairview Pointe Claire and Promenades St-Bruno) are proud Diamond partners with the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The stroller service at the serviCentre contributes $1 from each rental to the Foundation.

In 2010, the program collected $81,000 to make the fondest wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses come true.

Fondation Santa Cabrini

Thanks to the availability and support of its many volunteers in December 2010, Fondation Santa Cabrini raised $15,700 at its gift-wrapping kiosk as part of its annual fundraising campaign for its Cancer Treatment Centre and magnetic resonance imaging.

Give blood, the gift of life

Blood clinics are organized several times a year by Héma-Québec to collect essential supplies that are needed in our society.

Did you know that only 3% of eligible Québec blood donors contribute to the collective blood supply managed by Héma-Québec, and that we need to collect a minimum of 1,000 donations a day to meet the needs of Québec’s’ population? It’s a major challenge for Héma-Québec.

Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada was back with its celebrity kiosk on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Galeries d'Anjou Centre court.

Québec showbiz stars were there to support this cause.   For more details, please visit the Society Web Site at
